Adventure Ticket Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before completing your booking.
By selecting the acceptance checkbox, completing payment, or participating in an activity booked through Adventure Ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking, Payment, and Confirmation
1.1 Book Early During Your Stay
Paramotor and hot air balloon activities depend on weather, wind, visibility, safety, and operational conditions.
We strongly recommend booking for the earliest suitable day of your stay. Booking on your final day may leave no opportunity to reschedule if the activity cannot operate.
1.2 Advance Booking and Payment
Availability may be limited, especially during busy periods. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment should be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity.
A booking is confirmed only when:
- The required payment has been received.
- Adventure Ticket has confirmed the booking.
- The customer has received a confirmation message, email, or booking voucher.
Unpaid reservations may be placed on a waiting list. Priority is given to fully paid bookings.
Payment at the activity location or during hotel pick-up is not normally accepted unless approved by Adventure Ticket in advance.
1.3 Prices and Promotions
The price confirmed at the time of booking applies to that booking.
Prices and promotions may differ between Adventure Ticket, local operators, hotels, travel agents, online platforms, and other sellers. Finding a lower price after booking is not a valid reason for a refund or price adjustment.
Promotions may be limited by date, time, availability, booking channel, activity package, or promotional code.
2. Customer and Travel Information
Customers must provide complete and accurate information, which may include:
- Full name as shown on the passport.
- Passport number or a clear passport information-page photo, where required.
- Telephone number, email address, and WhatsApp number.
- Number, age, and weight of participants where required.
- Hotel name, accommodation address, or meeting location.
- Arrival date and time at the destination.
- Departure date and time from the destination.
- Relevant health, mobility, or safety information.
Passport information may be required for passenger registration, insurance, aviation compliance, activity-site requirements, or verification by the operator or relevant authorities.
Arrival and departure information helps our team recommend the earliest suitable activity date and identify possible rescheduling opportunities if weather conditions change.
Providing travel details does not guarantee suitable weather or activity availability. Customers remain responsible for allowing sufficient flexibility in their travel plans.
Adventure Ticket is not responsible for delays, missed activities, denied participation, or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or late information supplied by the customer.
3. Activity Times, Weather, and Operational Decisions
3.1 Estimated Times
Activity times, hotel pick-up times, take-off times, meeting times, and activity durations are estimates and may change.
Changes may be necessary because of:
- Weather or visibility.
- Wind direction or speed.
- Airspace or aviation restrictions.
- Equipment or staff availability.
- Road or transportation conditions.
- Safety or operational requirements.
- Delays involving other participants.
Customers must remain reachable and check WhatsApp, email, or the agreed communication channel before the activity.
3.2 Weather Decisions
Weather forecasts are not guarantees. Conditions may change quickly, and the final decision may be made shortly before the scheduled activity.
The pilot, operator, or authorised local team has final authority to delay, modify, reschedule, or cancel an activity for safety reasons.
Customers must not pressure a pilot, driver, operator, or staff member to proceed when conditions are considered unsafe.
3.3 Sunrise and Sunset Experiences
Sunrise and sunset bookings are scheduled to provide the best reasonable opportunity to experience those periods of the day.
However, Adventure Ticket cannot guarantee that the sun, sunrise, sunset, specific colours, lighting, or photographic conditions will be visible.
Visibility may be affected by clouds, rain, fog, haze, mountains, delayed take-off, route changes, aviation restrictions, or other circumstances outside our control.
If the activity operates during the booked sunrise or sunset period, it is considered delivered even when the sun is partially visible or not visible. No refund is provided solely because the expected sunrise, sunset, or lighting conditions were not seen.
Exclusive Sunrise or Sunset Add-On
If a customer purchases an Exclusive Sunrise or Sunset Add-On, but the activity cannot depart during the reserved period because of weather, safety, operational decisions, or an issue involving Adventure Ticket or the operator, the full price of that add-on will be refunded.
If the main activity is completed at another time, the refund applies only to the Exclusive Sunrise or Sunset Add-On and not to the main activity price.
4. Routes and Activity Changes
4.1 Hot Air Balloon Routes
Hot air balloons travel according to wind direction. A specific route, altitude, landmark, landing location, or flight direction cannot be guaranteed.
Changes resulting from natural wind movement do not qualify for a refund when the activity is safely completed.
4.2 Paramotor Routes
Paramotor pilots may change the planned route because of weather, wind, visibility, airspace restrictions, or safety requirements.
If a specifically booked route cannot be flown safely before take-off, the customer may be offered:
- The option to reschedule for another available date when the original route is possible; or
- An alternative route with a partial refund equal to the applicable price difference.
The customer’s choice must be confirmed before the activity begins whenever reasonably possible.
If conditions change after take-off and the pilot must modify the route immediately for safety, Adventure Ticket will review the service actually provided and offer a fair resolution where there is a meaningful difference between the purchased route and the completed route.
A safety-related route change does not automatically qualify for a full refund.
4.3 Activities Changed After Starting
If an activity must be shortened, redirected, interrupted, or ended early after it begins, any refund or alternative arrangement will depend on:
- How much of the activity was completed.
- The reason for the change.
- The pilot’s or operator’s safety decision.
- The difference between the booked and delivered service.
A full refund is not automatic once an activity has begun.
5. Pick-Up, Drop-Off, and Meeting Points
Hotel pick-up and drop-off is an optional add-on unless clearly stated as included in the selected package.
Customers must check whether the Pick-Up and Drop-Off Service Add-On appears in their booking confirmation.
5.1 Customers With the Transfer Add-On
Customers must provide the correct hotel name, location, and reachable contact number.
Customers must be ready at the confirmed pick-up point before the stated time. Drivers may be unable to wait because other customers and scheduled activities may be affected.
Pick-up times may change because of weather, road conditions, schedules, or operational requirements.
5.2 Customers Without the Transfer Add-On
If the transfer add-on is not included, Adventure Ticket will contact the customer to:
- Confirm that transportation is not included.
- Provide or confirm the meeting point.
- Send a location or Google Maps link.
- Confirm the required arrival time.
- Provide self-arrival instructions.
Customers may request to add the transfer service later, subject to vehicle availability, location, schedule, and operational capacity.
The additional service may be paid through a top-up option or a secure payment link sent by Adventure Ticket.
A transfer request is not confirmed until Adventure Ticket has approved it and received the required payment.
Customers travelling independently are responsible for arranging transportation and arriving at the meeting point on time.
6. Customer Cancellations and Changes
6.1 Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before the Activity
Customers may cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time and receive a refund, subject to the refund and fee provisions in Section 9.
The cancellation time is based on when Adventure Ticket receives the written request through an official communication channel.
6.2 Cancellation Within 24 Hours
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
Changes to the date, time, activity, participant, or pick-up arrangements within 24 hours are not guaranteed and may be refused.
6.3 Customer-Requested Rescheduling
Rescheduling requested more than 24 hours in advance is subject to availability and current pricing.
Any price difference, transportation charge, add-on cost, or non-refundable third-party fee may be payable by the customer.
6.4 Emergencies
Customers experiencing illness, accidents, travel disruption, or another genuine emergency should contact Adventure Ticket as soon as possible.
An emergency does not automatically guarantee a refund. Adventure Ticket may offer rescheduling or another reasonable solution after reviewing the circumstances and available evidence.
7. Late Arrival and No-Shows
A customer may be considered late or a no-show when they:
- Are not ready at the confirmed pick-up time.
- Fail to arrive at the meeting point on time.
- Cannot be contacted.
- Provide an incorrect hotel or meeting location.
- Oversleep or forget the booking.
- Miss the activity because of personal transportation or travel arrangements.
- Decide not to participate without sufficient notice.
Drivers and operators may be unable to delay the activity for late customers.
Where availability permits, Adventure Ticket may offer a later time or rescheduling, but this is not guaranteed and may involve additional charges.
No-show bookings are non-refundable.
8. Cancellation or Changes by Adventure Ticket
Adventure Ticket or the operating provider may delay, modify, reschedule, or cancel an activity because of:
- Unsafe weather.
- Equipment problems.
- Pilot or staff illness.
- Safety concerns.
- Aviation or government restrictions.
- Operational problems.
- Other circumstances preventing safe operation.
If the activity is cancelled before it begins, customers will normally be offered:
- An alternative date or time; or
- A full refund if rescheduling is not possible or reasonably suitable.
If Adventure Ticket or the provider makes a significant change to the booked service, the available resolution will depend on the type of change and may include rescheduling, a partial refund, an alternative service, or a full refund.
9. Payments, Refunds, Fees, and Exchange Rates
9.1 Online Card Payments
Secure online card payments are processed through our website, normally in USD.
Adventure Ticket does not add a separate credit or debit card processing fee to payments completed through our online checkout. Adventure Ticket absorbs its standard online card-processing cost.
The customer’s bank or card provider may still charge its own international transaction, conversion, or account fees.
9.2 Local Payments in Laos
Approved local payments are normally charged in Lao Kip.
Local currency payments may use a local commercial exchange rate that is higher than the international mid-market or bank rate.
Physical credit card payments made locally are subject to an additional 5% card-reader processing fee.
The final local amount and applicable exchange rate should be confirmed before payment.
9.3 Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, Adventure Ticket will submit it as soon as reasonably possible, often on the same business day or within 24 hours.
Submitting a refund does not mean the funds will immediately appear in the customer’s account.
Depending on the bank, card issuer, payment provider, payment method, and country, customers should allow up to 15–30 days for the refund to appear.
Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method where possible. In some cases, refunds may be made through Wise or international bank transfer.
9.4 Refund Currency and Exchange-Rate Differences
Adventure Ticket processes refunds based on the booking amount and currency received by Adventure Ticket.
If the customer paid through a bank, card, Wise, or another provider using a different currency, the amount shown in the customer’s local currency may change because of:
- Exchange-rate fluctuations.
- The exchange rate used on the refund date.
- Bank or card issuer conversion rates.
- Wise or payment-provider conversion rates.
- International transfer charges.
- Non-refundable processing or conversion fees.
Adventure Ticket does not control foreign exchange rates or third-party financial charges and cannot guarantee that the customer will receive the same amount in their home currency that appeared on the original statement.
Adventure Ticket is not required to refund more than the amount payable for the affected booking in the original booking or settlement currency.
9.5 Customer-Initiated Refund Costs
When a refund is requested for a reason not caused by Adventure Ticket or the operating provider, non-refundable processing fees, transfer fees, currency-conversion costs, and other third-party charges may be deducted from the refund where permitted.
9.6 Adventure Ticket or Provider Error
If a refund is required because of a confirmed error, cancellation, or service failure caused by Adventure Ticket or the assigned provider, Adventure Ticket will cover reasonable refund-processing costs under its control.
Exchange-rate movements and charges applied independently by the customer’s bank, card issuer, Wise, or another financial institution remain outside Adventure Ticket’s control.
10. Safety, Health, and Customer Conduct
10.1 Safety Instructions
Customers must follow all reasonable instructions given by pilots, operators, drivers, and local staff.
Participation may be refused or stopped if a customer:
- Ignores safety instructions.
- Acts aggressively or dangerously.
- Interferes with the pilot or equipment.
- Refuses required safety equipment.
- Creates a risk to themselves or others.
- Appears unable to participate safely.
No refund is provided when the activity is refused or stopped because of the customer’s unsafe conduct.
10.2 Health and Personal Responsibility
Paramotor and hot air balloon activities do not normally require a high level of physical fitness.
However, customers who have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy, recent surgery, mobility concern, or any health issue that may affect participation should inform Adventure Ticket before the activity.
Customers are responsible for considering their own health and seeking medical advice where appropriate.
By participating, customers acknowledge the ordinary risks of outdoor aviation activities.
Adventure Ticket is not responsible for a pre-existing medical condition becoming aggravated during or after the activity when the condition was not caused by Adventure Ticket’s negligence and was not disclosed before participation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
10.3 Alcohol and Drugs
Participation while impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, or another substance affecting judgment or coordination is prohibited.
Participation may be refused without a refund if the customer appears unfit to take part safely.
10.4 Age, Weight, and Participation Requirements
Some activities have age, weight, height, health, or mobility restrictions.
Customers must provide accurate information and review the applicable requirements before booking.
Participation may be refused without a refund when inaccurate or undisclosed information makes the customer ineligible or creates a safety risk.
11. Local Operating Partners and Customer Support
Adventure Ticket provides booking, payment, customer service, and activity coordination.
The activity itself may be delivered by carefully selected local operators, pilots, drivers, and other service providers.
Partners are selected based on available information concerning safety, licensing, operational standards, service quality, and customer experience.
Operational decisions involving routes, pilot assignment, equipment, schedules, launch locations, landing locations, and transportation may be made by the local provider.
Adventure Ticket remains the customer’s main point of contact. If an issue occurs, we will coordinate with the provider, investigate the circumstances, and work toward a fair and reasonable resolution.
Customers should report concerns to local staff immediately or contact Adventure Ticket as soon as possible. Prompt reporting allows the team to investigate and attempt to resolve the issue while the relevant people and information are available.
12. Risk, Liability, Force Majeure, and General Terms
12.1 Assumption of Risk
Paramotoring and hot air ballooning involve inherent risks associated with aviation, outdoor activities, weather, transportation, take-off, landing, and changing operational conditions.
By participating, customers acknowledge and voluntarily accept the ordinary risks associated with the selected activity.
12.2 Personal Belongings
Customers are responsible for their phones, cameras, passports, money, bags, jewellery, clothing, and other personal belongings.
Adventure Ticket is not responsible for loss or damage unless directly caused by negligence for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
12.3 Photos and Videos
Photo and video services depend on equipment availability and technical performance.
Adventure Ticket cannot guarantee that every part of an activity will be recorded or that footage will meet a particular creative or photographic expectation.
If a paid media add-on cannot be delivered because of a confirmed technical or operational failure, the remedy will normally be limited to the amount paid for that add-on.
12.4 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Adventure Ticket is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as:
- Missed flights, buses, or trains.
- Additional hotels or transportation.
- Loss of holiday time.
- Loss of income.
- Independent travel expenses.
- Personal disappointment caused by weather, visibility, or natural conditions.
Customers should allow sufficient time between the activity and onward travel.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12.5 Force Majeure
Adventure Ticket is not liable for delays, interruptions, schedule changes, or inability to operate caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather or natural disasters.
- Floods, fires, or road closures.
- Government orders or legal restrictions.
- Aviation or airspace restrictions.
- Political unrest or civil disturbances.
- Public-health emergencies.
- Power, internet, or communication failures.
- Transportation disruption.
- Other comparable events outside our control.
Where possible, Adventure Ticket will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date, time, or practical solution.
Any cancellation, rescheduling, credit, or refund relating to a force majeure event will be handled under the applicable cancellation and refund provisions in these Terms. This section does not create a separate or additional right to a refund.
12.6 Complaints and Disputes
Customers should contact Adventure Ticket directly and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve any complaint.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties should first consider independent mediation or another reasonable dispute-resolution process before pursuing litigation, where permitted by law.
12.7 Policy Updates
Adventure Ticket may update these Terms when legal, operational, payment, safety, or service requirements change.
The version available when the booking is confirmed will normally apply to that booking unless a later change is required by law or necessary for safety.
