Our Safety: Why Adventure Ticket (A.T.) Is the Safest Paramotor in Laos

At Adventure Ticket (A.T.) , safety isn’t a promise — it’s our lifestyle. We’re pilot-built, not agent-run, and our mission is to protect the joy of flight with responsibility, skill, and care.

We’re a Thai–Laotian team operating in Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang, expanding across Laos and Thailand. Moreover, our promise is simple: Safety before everything — backed by a 5-star rating from 700+ happy customers that validates our top-notch operation.

📋 Table of Contents

1) Our Safety Philosophy

We treat every flight as a privilege, not a job.

Rule #1: Safety before everything (“Better safe than sorry”).

A clean paramotor is a safe paramotor — neglected gear is a red flag.

In Vang Vieng, operators are growing in number. However, not all follow true aviation standards. When competition pushes prices down, some stretch equipment life, push pilots, or fly in unsafe weather. In short, cheap can turn dangerous fast in the air.

2) Certified Equipment

To begin with, we use true aviation-grade European gear, maintained to manufacturer standards. Each wing is retired at 150 flight hours (~600 flights) — about two or three months for us. Conversely, many budget operators fly wings until fabric porosity drops, making them unstable and stall-prone.

Current wings — designed for tandem safety and stability:

Nuvik R-Bus (40 m²)

Certified to 650 kg; responsive and stable.

Dudek Cabrio (42 m²)

Certified to 500 kg; renowned lift and balance.

Even though these models support heavy loads, we deliberately limit total flight weight to ≤ 350 kg (pilot + passenger + fuel) for smoother control and safer landings. In addition, our motor is a 900cc 4-stroke enignes tuned by Mr. Phong (Thailand National Paramotor Team Techinician) for power, efficiency, and reliability. Finally, every wing, motor, frame, and prop is logged after every flight.

3) Our Pilots

Next, our pilots are selected for discipline, patience, and passion. Each has 2,000+ safe flights, and our 30–55 age range blends reflexes with mature judgment. All are trained to Thai aviation standards and follow a strict code of conduct.

Medical & mental checks

Flight-hour & maintenance logging

Zero-alcohol & drug policy

Verified rest before flights

We speak Thai, Lao, and English (with translation tools when needed). Furthermore, we believe team chemistry is safety: pilots and crew double-check gear and coordinate calmly before every take-off.

4) Flight Time & Weather Conditions

Also important, we only fly when the sky is calm and supportive.

Morning window05:45–08:30
Evening window16:00–18:00

These times avoid midday thermal activity (turbulence, sudden lift, rotor). Unlike others, we do not fly in daytime heat with strong gusts and thermals that can destabilize a wing.

Light, steady wind with consistent direction

Good visibility, no nearby rain cells

No strong thermals, gust fronts, or storms developing

How we monitor: on-field anemometer & windsock, local forecast + radar/satellite, pilot briefings with live radio, and test inflations when conditions are borderline. If the weather doesn’t meet our standard, we wait, reschedule, or refund.

5) Flight Limitation & Pilot Care

In addition, we believe in quality over quantity. We cap the day at 20 flights — 10 morning + 10 evening — across two paramotors. Each pilot flies ≤ 10 times daily. Fatigue causes errors; we keep pilots fresh. Others push 40–50/day and shorten evening flights to beat sunset — we never rush.

Engines cool and are inspected between rounds for reliability.

6) Insurance Coverage

Furthermore, every passenger is protected by Laos aviation insurance + Thai insurance for stronger coverage.

Accident / Injury500,000 THB (~US$ 15,000)
Loss of Life1,000,000 THB (~US$ 30,000)

Standard Lao policy alone is ~US$ 38 accident / ~US$ 100 death — far below international expectations. If conditions are unsafe, you can reschedule or receive a full refund.

7) Certified Airfield & Wind Alignment

Our airfield is government-certified and purpose-built for paramotoring. It features a wide green-grass runway aligned north–south with the natural wind, surrounded by open land — no power lines, houses, or trees nearby. Conversely, one-way dirt fields force with-wind operations, increasing crosswind and windshear risk.

8) Maintenance & Logbook Tracking

We treat every paramotor like an aircraft. Each engine and wing has a logbook for hours, inspections, and replacements. Engines are checked daily and serviced by hour; wings are tested for porosity and line tension per manufacturer schedule.

9) Emergency Preparedness & Pilot Skill

Even with perfect maintenance and planning, true safety means being ready for anything. Our pilots train for engine failure, wind changes, and emergency landings. Our wings glide; in engine-out, we descend at about 1 m/s and spot-land calmly on open ground. Meanwhile, ground control supports every flight by live radio.

10) Passenger Briefing & Instruction

11) Team Culture & Safety Chemistry

Safety is about people as much as machines. Our single goal is simple: fly safe, smile often, and go home happy. Everyone follows a clear command chain; rushed mistakes like unlocked straps have no place here.
