Veteran paramotor pilot with more than 20 years of combined flying experience.
Pilot Jo is the Chief Pilot of Adventure Ticket and one of the most experienced pilots in our Vang Vieng paramotor team.
His flying career spans more than 20 years, including over five years of flying experience in Thailand before focusing on Laos, followed by more than 15 years of flying experience in Vang Vieng.
Years of flying around Vang Vieng have given Jo extensive knowledge of the area’s mountain terrain, valleys, changing wind conditions and local flying environment.
As Chief Pilot, Jo is known within our team for his calm approach, strong personal discipline and safety-focused decision-making before and during each flight.

Paramotor Pilot · Air & Wind Specialist
Pilot Dum
More than 13 years of air-sport experience, built on an extensive paragliding background.
Before becoming a paramotor pilot in Vang Vieng, Pilot Dum had already spent around 10 years flying and training in paragliding at Koh Larn, Thailand.
Operating regularly in one of Thailand’s busy tourist flying environments gave him extensive hands-on experience with airflow, lift, wind direction and rapidly changing flying conditions.
Dum later gained approximately one year of paramotor flying experience in Thailand and has since spent around two years flying paramotors in Vang Vieng, Laos.
His long free-flight background gives him a particular strength in reading the air and understanding how wind, lift and surrounding terrain can influence the most appropriate flight line at a particular moment.

Paramotor Pilot · Scenic & Precision Flying
Pilot Eddie
Quiet by nature. Calm and precise in the air.
Pilot Eddie is the youngest member of our current Adventure Ticket flying team and is known for his calm personality and disciplined flying style.
Before flying regularly in Vang Vieng, Eddie gained paramotor experience in Luang Prabang, Laos and Chiang Mai, Thailand.
He gained approximately two years of prior experience across these flying areas and has been flying regularly in Vang Vieng since 2025.
Eddie has a natural eye for the surrounding landscape. His strengths include calm flight control, scenic positioning and creating a smooth passenger experience while keeping flight conditions and operational safety as the priority.

Our Pilot Safety & Readiness Standard
A pilot license is important, but professional passenger flying also depends on preparation, judgement, adequate rest and fitness for duty.
Adventure Ticket expects operating pilots to be properly rested and fit to fly, with no alcohol, recreational drugs or other impairing substances affecting their ability to operate safely.
Before take-off, weather conditions, pilot readiness, equipment and the operating environment are considered. If conditions are not suitable, safety comes before the flight.
We believe travelers have the right to know who they are flying with, understand that pilot’s experience and review the credentials available before taking to the sky.
