Adventure Ticket Terms and Conditions
1. Booking Early Upon Arrival
- Maximize Your Experience: We strongly encourage booking your experience on the earliest day of your arrival in the area. Many customers who book on the final day of their stay have unfortunately missed the experience due to unexpected weather conditions.
- Flexible Rescheduling: By booking on your first day, you give yourself more time to reschedule in case of weather disruptions, and with our flexible rescheduling policy, there will be no extra charge for making changes to your booking.
2. Booking in Advance and Payment Requirements
- Advance Booking: We highly recommend booking in advance as our slots fill up quickly. Payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled experience.
- No Payment on Arrival: To ensure smooth operations and avoid past issues with unpaid customers failing to show up at the pick-up point, we do not accept payment on arrival.
- Priority for Fully Paid Customers: We prioritize fully paid customers, and any unpaid customers may be placed on a waitlist. In such cases, we cannot guarantee the booking for unpaid customers.
3. Addressing Issues and Feedback
- We Value Your Feedback: At Adventure Ticket, we are committed to delivering the best experience possible. If any issues arise during your experience, we kindly ask you to address them with our local staff on-site. We take all feedback seriously and are dedicated to resolving any concerns promptly. Your input helps us improve our services and ensure every customer has an exceptional adventure.
4. Safety and Conduct
- Customer Responsibility: All customers are expected to follow the safety instructions provided by our staff. Any actions that jeopardize the safety of yourself or others may result in termination of your activity without a refund.
- Health and Fitness Requirements: Customers must be in good health and physically capable of participating in the activity. Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed before booking. Failure to do so may result in cancellation without refund.
- Alcohol and Drug Use: Participation in activities while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited. Adventure Ticket reserves the right to refuse service to any participant deemed unfit, with no refund given.
5. Liability Waiver
- Assumption of Risk: Customers acknowledge that adventure activities such as paramotoring and hot air ballooning involve inherent risks. By booking, customers agree to assume these risks and release Adventure Ticket from liability for injuries or damages except in cases of gross negligence.
6. Payment and Refund Process for Local Payments in Laos
- Local Payments: Customers paying locally in Laos can choose to pay either by cash or physical credit card. All local payments will be charged in Lao Kip. The exchange rate applied to local payments is subject to an inflated rate of 24,000 to 25,000 kip per USD.
- Credit Card Payments: For payments made with a physical credit card in Laos, there will be an additional 5% fee added to the total amount due to processing costs.
- Online Payments: Customers choosing to pay online will be charged in USD, and their payment will be processed through our secure payment gateway via Stripe. Online payments use a fair bank conversion rate with no extra fees applied.
- Refunds for Local Payments: Refunds for cash payments made locally will be processed immediately if the cancellation or rescheduling is due to Adventure Ticket’s fault or adverse weather conditions. Refunds for credit card payments made locally will be processed within 15 days via Wise payment or international bank transfer using a SWIFT code. If the refund is not due to Adventure Ticket’s fault, additional fees may apply for the transfer.
7. Price Differences and Refund Requests
Transparent and Fair Pricing: Each service provider may offer different prices and promotions based on their individual policies. Once a booking is confirmed, the price agreed upon at the time of purchase will apply. Discovering a lower price later, through another provider or promotion, is not considered a valid reason for a refund. Adventure Ticket is fully transparent about its pricing, ensuring fairness and clarity for all customers.
Reasons for Price Differences: Lower-priced experiences may come with significant compromises. Some operators may cut corners by not providing essential elements like flight insurance or working with unverified, unlicensed operators who are not subject to strict civil aviation regulations. Additionally, certain agencies may prioritize sending customers to operators that offer the highest commission margin, rather than those with the best reviews and highest safety standards. At Adventure Ticket, we prioritize safety, verified operators, and transparency in our pricing to ensure a high-quality experience for all customers.
Refunds Due to Provider Issues: In the event that an issue arises due to an error on Adventure Ticket’s part, we will offer a full or partial refund as a fair resolution based on the circumstances and the customer’s request.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
- Advance Cancellation: Bookings may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled experience for a full refund.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the experience are non-refundable.
- No Refund for No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the pick-up point or the activity location without prior notification will result in a forfeited payment.
- Company-Initiated Cancellations: If Adventure Ticket must cancel the experience due to weather, equipment, or staff issues, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
9. Arrival and Pick-Up Policy
- Late Arrivals: Customers using the hotel pick-up service should ensure they are ready on time. Independent arrivals who are late will need to reschedule, if possible. Failure to arrive on time may be considered a no-show, which is non-refundable.
10. Force Majeure
- Unforeseen Events: Adventure Ticket will not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or other interruptions to services caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, or other force majeure circumstances. In such cases, we will work with customers to reschedule or provide refunds where applicable, but some restrictions may apply.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Dispute Process: In the unlikely event of a dispute, Adventure Ticket aims to resolve any concerns fairly and quickly. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to submit the issue to an independent mediator or arbitration service rather than pursuing litigation. This ensures a quicker and more cost-effective solution for both parties.
